 Double hydrometer test

It is performed according to the ASTM: D4221

This test is performed for the dispersive types of soil.

To perform the double hydrometer test two hydrometer tests are performed 

1. With using dispersing agent solution in a hydrometer.

2. Without using dispersing agent solution in a hydrometer.
